The BarkHut Restaurant situated within the grounds of Ti-Tree Village was built to resemble a high country cattlemans hut. With timber slab walls, rusty iron roof and cosy open fire for winter the hut is definitely unique in itself.
The food is native Australian. The use of native Australian berries and spices is prominent throughout the menu.
Hand made munthari and feta pork sausages, pepperberry beef curry, chicken breast stuffed with davidson plum drizzled with a creamy riberry sauce, our famous slow cooked lamb shanks and the spicy seafood paella are just some of the dishes locals keep returning for.
The BarkHut is also an ideal location for group functions. Be it small wedding (100 standing, 50-60 sitting), christmas break ups, or family get togethers. The playground and games room for children allows parents to dine in peace whilst the little ones are entertained with pool table, playstation and tv :-)
As an alternative to the a la carte menu, The BarkHut also has a 'cook your own' bbq at the rear of the BarkHut. Purchase all meats, salads and delicious bbq treats and have fun cooking your own dinner on the commercial grills in the playground. It makes for a cheaper option, especially for familys or group functions, and its FUN.!
